For fans wondering what time the Flyers game ended tonight, the final buzzer sounded just under four minutes into the extra period, delivering a dramatic finish at the Wells Fargo Center.

How the Game Unfolded

The Flyers started strong, with Travis Konecny opening the scoring in the first period on a power play. The Devils responded quickly, tying the game before the period ended, but Philadelphia regained the lead midway through the second frame. New Jersey tied it again late in the third, forcing the game into overtime. The decisive goal came from defenseman Jamie Drysdale, who capitalized on a Devils turnover to put the puck past the goaltender at 2:14 of the extra session.

Key Moments That Shaped the Outcome

First Period: Konecny’s power-play goal (1-0 Flyers) was set up by a sharp pass from Sean Couturier, showcasing the team’s offensive chemistry.
Second Period: New Jersey tied the game on a rebound that slipped past Carter Hart, highlighting the Flyers’ defensive lapses under pressure.
Third Period: A late surge by Philadelphia nearly sealed the win, but a last-second Devils shot forced overtime.
Overtime: Drysdale’s goal ended the game, though replays suggested a potential offside review—none was called.
